2. Offers and agreement

All watches on this website are offered without obligation and subject to prior sale. Prices are in euros. For watches marked “Price on request” or “On request”, an agreement is concluded only after written confirmation by both parties.

3. VAT and margin scheme

Most pre-owned watches are sold under the margin scheme (article 28b Dutch VAT Act 1968 / article 313 Directive 2006/112/EC). VAT is then included in the sales price, is not charged separately and is not deductible for you. For VAT watches, VAT is stated separately on the invoice.

4. Payment and ownership

Payment is made by bank transfer or in cash within statutory limits. The watch remains the property of Platinum Luxury until the full purchase price has been paid.

5. Delivery and shipping

Delivery takes place in person by appointment or by insured shipment. Risk passes at the moment of handover or delivery at the stated address.

6. Authenticity and condition

Every watch is verified by us for authenticity; we sell genuine watches only. Pre-owned watches show signs of wear consistent with the stated condition; photos and descriptions are as accurate as possible.

7. Warranty

Unless stated otherwise on the invoice, a twelve-month warranty applies to the movement. Excluded are wear to case, bracelet and crystal, water damage, impact damage and third-party interventions.

8. Right of withdrawal for distance sales

If you buy as a consumer at a distance, you have fourteen days to withdraw after receipt. The watch must be returned unworn and complete, with all documents and seals. Any diminished value due to use may be deducted. Returns are insured and at your expense.

9. Buy-ins and trade-ins

When buying from private individuals we draw up a purchase declaration identifying seller and watch. The seller warrants that the watch is free of third-party rights and not derived from crime. Purchases are made under the margin scheme.

10. Liability

Our liability is limited to the invoice value of the watch concerned, save for intent or wilful recklessness. We are not liable for consequential damage or lost profit.

11. Complaints and governing law

Report complaints within fourteen days of discovery to info@platinum-luxury.nl. Dutch law applies to all agreements. Disputes are submitted to the competent court in the district of The Hague.
