2. Data we process

• Contact details: name, email address, phone number and — for a purchase or sale — your address.
• Watch details: brand, model, reference, serial number, condition and any photos you provide.
• Transaction data: order and invoice details, payment method and VAT information.
• Identification on buy-ins: identity document data insofar as legally required for the purchase declaration.
• Technical data: IP address, browser type and pages viewed.

3. Purposes and legal bases

• Performance of a contract: sale, purchase, valuation, delivery and warranty.
• Legal obligation: bookkeeping, invoicing, VAT and margin scheme, purchase declarations.
• Legitimate interest: fraud prevention, security and service improvement.
• Consent: replying to your enquiry through the contact or sell form.

4. Retention

Invoices, purchase declarations and related records are kept for seven years under Dutch tax law. Enquiries that do not lead to an agreement are deleted no later than 24 months after the last contact.

5. Sharing with third parties

We never sell your data. We share only what is necessary with our processors: our hosting provider, database and storage provider, email service, accounting and invoicing software, and shipping and insurance partners. Data processing agreements are in place with each of them.

6. Security

Sensitive data such as serial numbers, purchase prices and customer details are accessible only to authorised staff within our secured admin environment. Connections are encrypted and photos from buy-ins and offers are stored in private storage.

7. Your rights

You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and data portability. Send your request to info@platinum-luxury.nl; we respond within four weeks. You may also lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority.
